March with FCDSN in the Greece Memorial Day Parade
WHEN: Monday, May 28th at 1:15 pm
Meeting Spot: Corner of Janes Road and Long Pond Road near Urgent Care- Look for FCDSN signs/balloons. Parade ends at Town Hall.
Parade begins at 2 pm. Long Pond CLOSES at 1:45. Please arrive between 1:15 & 1:30 at the meeting spot.
WEAR your Buddy WALK T-SHIRT if you have one, if not dress patriotic
Feel free to call my cell if you cannot find FCDSN,766-7973.
Let me know if your family plans on joining us! I will have a trailer in tow if you don't want to walk. Bring a wagon or stroller if you'd like.

Hello FCDSN Members!
On Memorial Day the Flower City Down Syndrome Network will be marching in their first ever parade! Come march with us and let the community know what FCDSN is about and spread the word to end the R word. If you are interested in marching please respond back or you can just show up, the more the merrier.
WHEN: Monday, May 28th Memorial Day, Parade Start Time is 2 pm (we will be meeting sooner)
WHERE: Greece, James Road & Long Pond Road (more details to follow as to where we will be meeting)
Please wear your BUDDY WALK T-SHIRT if you have one, dress appropriately we will be marching rain or shine and wear good walking shoes. Parents bring wagons or strollers and feel free to decorate them. We plan to pass out candy and FCDSN stickers.
There will be a trailer for people to sit if they'd like. If you have a trailer we could borrow please let me know, I am looking to use a larger one than I have available.

Hello Parents,
We have 2 meetings scheduled to be held at Pieters Family Life Center in Henrietta from 6:30 pm -8 pm. Babysitting is available for children 18 months and older, younger children are welcomed to stay in the room with the adults. Let's get together in May to have our very own FCDSN book club and then in June we can discuss behavior. Whether you have a baby or an 18 year old, dealing with inappropriate behavior is always a challenge, come get some ideas from an expert. PLEASE RSVP
Tuesday, May 15th-Calling all Bookworms or Bookworm Wannabe’s-Bring your favorite Ds book(s), Kindle, Nook, or come and find out good books to read or get information from. A selection of Ds books will be there for you to skim through.
Tuesday, June 19th- Linda Quiano from Crisis Intervention will be joining us to discuss behavior suggestions for our children. Do you have a child that you need help curving their behavior? Linda has lots of experience working on behavior strategies for people that have developmental disabilities; you won’t want to miss this.
Meeting Suggestions and volunteers are always welcomed.
